LFSG is organized to maximize research agility while maintaining rigorous operational oversight.

  • Research and Analysis Division (RAD)

    RAD Mission Overview:

The Research and Analysis Division (RAD) provides validated insights that inform LFSG’s capability development, doctrine refinement, and force design recommendations.

RAD is structured around two branches:

    -Lightfighter Concepts Research Branch

    -Cognitive Dominance Research Branch

  • Test and Evaluation Division (TED)

    TED Mission Overview:

The Test and Evaluation Division (TED) conducts live field experimentation to validate LFSG’s tactics, force structures, and equipment under realistic operational conditions. TED ensures all concepts and capabilities are tested through structured trials and force-on-force wargaming before formal integration into doctrine and training programs.

TED is structured around two branches:

    -Simulations Exercise Branch

    -Live-Fire Exercise Branch

  • Training Development Division (TDD)

    TDD Mission Overview:

The Training Development Division (TDD) is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting training programs that translate LFSG’s validated research, doctrine, and operational concepts into practical application for Lightfighters. TDD ensures LFSG’s tactics, techniques, procedures, and force structure models are integrated into actionable training solutions through classroom instruction, field exercises, mobile delivery, and structured opposing forces simulation.

TDD is structured around two branches:

    -Training Support Branch (TSB)

    -Opposing Forces (OPFOR) Branch
